Our Story

Since its launch, Learn Auslan Online has received enrolments from a wide array of people including emergency services staff, hospital staff, primary school teachers, childcare educators, university students, families with deaf children, workplaces with deaf colleagues, and individuals wanting to learn Auslan for fun and to learn a new skill.

We have grown from a single beginner course to now having several unique courses (with more to come) that cover signing for children at home and at school; to adults looking to learn a new skill whether that be for work, their community, or personal interest.

Our tutors have a range of teaching experience including community courses, workplace courses, one on one and small group tutoring as well as teaching Auslan LOTE in primary schools.

Our passion is teaching Auslan and sharing our language with those who are interested to learn so they can communicate with Deaf and hard of hearing people in a range of workplace and social settings as well as with family members.
