Our Story

Learn Auslan Online was established in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the preference for greater opportunities for peoplea to learn online. Creating this business has allowed us see what was missing in providing teaching Auslan; an affordable, accessible, and above all, easy way for Auslan teachers to share our language.

Since its launch Learn Auslan Online have received enrolments from a wide array of people including: emergency services staff, hospital staff, primary school teachers, childcare educators, university students, families with deaf children, workplaces with deaf colleagues, and individuals wanting to learn Auslan for fun and to learn a new skill.

We have grown from a single beginner course to now having seven unique courses that cover signing for children at home and at school; to adults looking to learn a new skill whether that be for work, their community, or personal interest.
